If the patient is over five years old, we require pre-anesthetic bloodwork to ensure maximum safety for your pet. Also, we pre-medicate with an anti-nausea medication to aid in the recovery of your pet. Our surgeries also include a pain injection to ensure comfort upon recovery. Call us at (636) 937-2546 to get an appointment for your pet’s surgery.
We are by appointment only, so we schedule our surgeries in a specific time frame and allow ourselves ample time to complete them. If you need to schedule one of these procedures, please call in advance to give us time to get your pet's surgery scheduled appropriately.
SPAY AND NEUTER
We recommend spays and neuters be performed at 6 months of age. We offer this service for dogs, cats, and male rabbits.
We also can perform equine castrations. On horses, we like to do a Tetanus vaccination two weeks prior to the castration.
Biopsy/Tumor Excision
If we have recommended a biopsy or tumor excision for your pet, also know you have the option to have that sent to an outside lab for histopathology testing. This will let us know what were dealing with and the severity of it, so we can make the best treatment plan for your pet.

Give your pet a faster healing process with our laser therapy sessions
Laser therapy, or Photobiomodulation (PBM) therapy, occurs when a dose of light energy reaches the target tissue and results in decreased inflammation, pain, and accelerated healing.
Laser therapy can reduce pain and inflammation associated with various acute and chronic conditions; such as arthritis, degenerative joint disease, fractures, sprains and strains, lick granulomas, bacterial and fungal infections, post-surgical procedures, and wounds. At our clinic, your pet has modern options to reduce post-surgical pain and inflamation at your local veterinarian. Patients who suffer from any combination of pain, inflammation, or slow-healing wounds benefit from laser therapy
